A shop as good as new! (But better)

So here I am, working every day in the fresh, brand new, shiny working area of our tattoo studio.
We had already such an awesome time!
Johann Morel came over to tattoo for a week, (check the news on our official blog) and we started to paint like crazy. So new business cards are on the way, big drawings and cool tattoos are getting done...
Here are some pictures for your delight.
Cheers!

NEW Video: 'STAND; Be Not Moved'

This was inspired by a few things: My previous blog post, My love for the Temple, and the New Youth theme for 2013! What a blessing it's been in my life, not just as a patron but also an ordinance worker.  Click HERE to watch it!    'SHARE it if you like it!'

A Huge special thanks to Youtube sensation StuartEdge, who was able to edit & match my vision I had for this perfectly, if not a little better! If you want a good laugh, watch his prank videos HERE.
And also to the talented Dylan Bitton for filming; visit his website HERE.

Audio Text:
"How grateful I am to be a member of this church. I am a part of the greatest thing to ever be a part of!
My joy is not just full, but overfilling! How great is our God! How great is what He has in store for us! How great are our blessings & happiness when we turn to Him & when we simply try. I am overwhelmed with how great & true & real Heavenly Father's promises are. His promises are real. His blessings are so real, and they are so great!
How grateful I am for this Gospel. How grateful I am for His teachings & commandments. For covenants. For what's asked of us. To be able to receive the greater things.
Making and keeping covenants opens the gate to an outpouring of blessings. Never should it be viewed as a burden or approached apprehensively, but rather sought after & embraced & kept with excitement and joy to be able to partake more fully & receive the best things ever created. Not just in the eternities, but here-daily- in mortality.
The Temple has blessed literally every aspect of my life. I am able to keep going- confidently-  and with strength & happiness. I am able to receive, in abundance, when I still have an immeasurable amount of room for growth & improvement- complimented with my imperfections & shortcomings.
How great is our God! How great are His ways & His plan. How great is the love He has for all of us.
Do not hold yourself back. Do not shortchange yourself. Take confidence! Take confidence in Him & His ways & promises! His hand is never shortened. Keep going. Try. Embrace. And receive the greater things.
I don't know what I'd do without the Temple. It's home."

Ok, we gots internets!

It finally happened, we got internet after waiting for almost three months!
Yeah, it's a long story, but let's just say that getting internet in Berlin isn't always easy.
But it's here, and we can answer emails and blog like normal people again, so yay for that!

However, it will still be a few more days before the waiting list will open, so please, please stop emailing me about it.
The waiting list is a separate email account, so writing me won't get you on it any faster anyway.

Here are a few tattoos, just so you have something pretty to look at until the next post.
All by Uncle Allan, if that wasn't obvious!

It's still winter in Berlin, by the way.
We can't wait for spring so we can explore the city on bikes, and start planting pretty plants outside the shop... ok, maybe i'm the only one who's excited about that last part, but i'm plenty excited for the both of us!

Ps. If you want to get updates and stuff from us, consider following us on twitter.

OUTFIT: Mission Impossible

Photobucket

I would make a vewwy vewwy good spy! The subject came up because my friend thought the case looked like something for transporting critical information to HQ while the studs on the jacket would make great improvised weapons. Boys... what can I say? So imma spy! Taking these photos was Mission Impossible for real though! It was so cold and windy oh and snowing too, so lots of fly-away hair!
xoxo

ps. guess what? Looks like I will be spying fashion in Paris in a few days! So exited!

One of my all time favorite beauty looks besides the Cat Eye is the Smokey Eye, a beautiful dark smokey eye with pale lips! It's like nothing in the world can beat a good black smudge! I personally think that when it comes to smokey eyes you just have to try what works best for you but I do have to admit I keep a few Tutorials that are my absolute favorites when it comes to Dark, Attractive and Dramatic Eyes!

Catching up!

Well it has been a long time since I posted, again. But it has been a very hectic couple of months! So much exciting stuff has been happening, between renovating the shop we have had 7 guest artists in less than 5 weeks. Thanks to all of them for coming, Wendy Pham, Matt Gordon, Alvaro Flores, Ben O'Grady and we currently have Steve and Lisa Burlton with us. And this has all been going on in the midst of all the shop renovating mess. Sorry about that everyone but in 2 weeks time the mess should be under control... somewhat! So here are some updates on how things are looking:

We finally have a doorway between the two shops! And say goodbye to the red, the red will be no more!
Going for more the more "neutral" look. And the shop has little to no natural light, so we are trying to lighten things up a bit! This is Matt and Ryan's room (the new part)
View from Matt and Ryan's room (into new reception area)
Matt and Ryan's room which is coming along, few more pictures to hang and such but it's getting there!
Hanging the many, many pictures we have. Thanks to Ryan who has stayed back and helped so many times already!
I should also just probably mention that we ARE NOT looking for any more artists. We have been getting a lot of applications for work and apprenticeships. I guess having a larger shop means we could have more space but we are really happy with the people we have already working for us and don't feel the need to expand in that way at all. So thanks for the interest but won't be looking for more artists in the foreseeable future.

We have a new shop Instagram! Come follow us for updates on what's happening around the shop, guest artist information and of course all the tattoos our guys get up to!

Follow us @progressiontattoo
Alex Rusty Cairns will be with us this week and has one appointment left for his visit. So take advantage of getting a tattoo from an awesome artist and skip our long waiting lists at the shop. Please email progression tattoo@hotmail.com for enquiries.

Matt's been painting a lot lately, so thought I should post them on here so you can look see:

This one is for the Dave Shore Dragon Art Show in Vancouver.  Not sure if we can do prints of this one, the original is being sent off to Vancouver for auction. But will keep you posted.
Trying out water colours for the first time (properly anyway). No prints of this one, it was a gift for a friend.
No prints of this one either, it is a gift for our gorgeous little niece Emery.
And you have all seen this one before but I have two of these prints left for sale. If you want one better hurry up. Details are on our Big Cartel Site : http://progressiontattoo.bigcartel.com/

And I think we are way overdue for updates on what our guys have been tattooing of late. So here is a bunch from Matty D:

And also in exciting news, Ryan Reeve started with us officially this week! We are really happy to welcome Ryan and his beautiful wife Anneke to Adelaide, they have just made the big move from Melbourne 2 weeks ago. So Ryan is of course taking appointments right now, so take advantage of the fact he's not as booked up as everyone else at the moment and get a sweet tattie from this lovely guy! Ryan is into tattooing a bit of everything Japanese, Traditional and he is of course the Script master!

Here is some stuff Simo has been up to!:

Here is what Jamie has been up to:

And as for Stu, most of you know but he has headed home to England to catch up on a few things but we will be getting him back around mid April and he will be fulltime again at Progression. We are still taking bookings and consultation appointments for him, so email the shop for any interest in getting in with him. Here is some work he got up to before he left:

Hopefully next post won't be so far away and we will have a freshly finished, new and improved Progression Tattoo!

That's all.
